| Don't know how many of you have fought this before, but my property tax assessor seriously needs to share the drugs they must be taking. Just got a notice that they upped the assessment of my Condo. According to the Hall County Property tax assessor it is worth a little over $88,000.00.  Since I'm planning on moving soon and selling the condo I should be thrilled, but lets just say I don't expect to get anywhere near that for it. | |

| Ya'll are missing the point. The tax assessor says its work $88k. So that is the amount I have to pay property tax on. It really isn't worth that much. I hope to get something between $70k and $75k for it when I sell, after I have it repainted and new carpet put in. | |

| im in the same boat for my house... also, your insurance will probably go up because of that. (I know mine did. My insurance is over 2000 a year and taxes were 2100 last year.) Gotta love it when over 400 bucks a month has to go into equity on top of your mortgage payment. | |

wow.thats it.my ins was $2500. and taxes were $4000. so feel blessed yours were what they were. | |
